The Night of the Following Day: Excellent cast makes this sordid story of a young gal’s abduction somehow more fascinating than it should be; pretty coarse in spots. Cast includes Marlon Brando, Richard Boone, Rita Moreno, Pamela Franklin, Jess Hahn, and Gerard Buhr. (93 minutes,’69)
The Nutcracker Prince: Physician Down treats an obvious madman, who then goes through a hallucinatory rerun of his current experiences: he’s a French anthropologist who’s materialized in L.A. and has been drawn to a band of bizarre street people. Cast includes Megan Follows, Peter Brosnan, Adam Ant, Anna-Maria Monticelli, Hector Mercado, and Mary Woronov. (75 minutes,’90)
Stallion Road: Devoted veterinarian Reagan and novelist buddy Scott vie for the benevolence of horse rancher Smith; low-key drama written by Stephen Longstreet. Cast includes Ronald Reagan, Alexis Smith, Zachary Scott, Peggy Knudsen, Patti Brady, and Harry Davenport. (91 minutes,’47)
A Good Woman: Strange rendition of Oscar Wilde’s Woman Windermere’s Fan, which has been filmed a few times over the years, set in Italy instead of England and updated from the’90s to the’30s. A number of Wilde’s British characters now are Americans. Cast includes Helen Seek, Scarlett Johansson, Milena Vukotic, Stephen Campbell Moore, Mark Umbers, Tom Wilkinson, and Diana Hardcastle. (93 minutes, 2005)
The Man in the Iron Mask: Handsome retelling of the reliable Alexander Dumas story of a guy unreasonably imprisoned and encased in an iron mask-since his very existence challenges the reigning baron of France, the youthful, self-centered Louis XIV. The destiny of both are eventually in the hands of the aging although still enthusiastic Musketeers. It could be difficult to miss with that cast; the film is relatively enjoyable, however it does go on too long. Cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Gerard Depardieu, Peter Sarsgaard, and Hugh Laurie. (132 minutes,’98)
Sgt. Bilko: An army comedy with Steve Martin, Dan Akroyd and Phil Hartman. Sgt Bilko does basically everything but army duties with his platoon of soldiers. Life in Sgt. Bilko’s army is quite nice. That is until Major Thorn shows up and tries to spoil the fun.
The Crush: Ludicrous thriller in reference to a twenty-something year old reporter Elwes who becomes the target of a pretty, compulsive fourteen-year-old Lolita Silverstone. The young reporter soon sees that the young girl has a crush on him. Cast includes Cary Elwes, Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Rubin, Amber Benson, Kurtwood Smith, and Gwyneth Walsh. (89 minutes,’93)
Adam’s Apples: This movie is a bizarre dark comedy about two very different men who have a battle of wills. It is a newly developed religious zealot versus a hard core neo-Nazi criminal. The battle of good versus evil is on. The main stars are Ulrich Thomsen, Mads Mikkelsen, Nicolas Brom, and Paprika Steen. (German-Danish-comedy directed by Anders Thomas Jensen)

Most of these movie downloads that are passed around are done without the permission of the movie studios. Online Movie Store A lot of the legal movie download sites now a days offer free trials.
